Plot Outline: Red (Morgan Freeman) and Andy (Tim Robbins) form a deep friendship while imprisoned, finding solace and eventually redemption through their relationship.
Scene 1: Andy cunningly figures out a way to broadcast the Aria from Mozart’s “Marriage of Figaro” out to the prisoners. Later, Red and Andy react differently to the music’s effect on the imprisoned men.

Scene 2:Andy has escaped prison. A little while later, Red is finally let out on parole. Struggling to adapt to life outside of jail, Red decides to honor his promise to Andy and retrieve a letter from a hidden spot that Andy told him about years before.
